Broadway Backstage Cast Announcement

Great news! The cast of Broadway Backstage has been announced and we couldn’t be more excited. Set to perform are six leading Broadway stars who will be singing their biggest songs from your favorite shows and sharing their most memorable moments from over the years on the Great White Way.

The cast will include:

Daniel C. Levine: Broadway’s Les Miserbales, Little Shop of Horrors, Jesus Christ Superstar, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Tommy, Chicago, and Mamma Mia.

Matt Farnsworth: Broadway’s Thoroughly Modern Millie, Curtains, Tommy, Cats, and Sunset Boulevard.

Michael Seelbach: Broadway’s Jesus Christ Superstar, Footloose, and the original company of Wicked.

Cheryl Stern: Broadway’s La Cage Aux Folles, The Women, Candide, and Laughing Room Only.

Jenn Colella: Broadway’s Chaplin, High Fidelity, and Urban Cowboy (*Outer Critics Circle Award nomination, Outstanding Leading Actress in a Musical).

Sarah Litzsinger: Broadway’s longest running Belle in Beauty and the Beast, Oliver, Les Miserables, Amour, and Hal Prince’s Evita.

Bryan Perri (musical director and conductor): Broadway’s Wicked, Chaplin, Next to Normal, and Dogfight.

RIOULT rehearsing new piece at On Stage At Kingsborough

This week, internationally-acclaimed dance company RIOULT is rehearsing a new work that have its world premiere at On Stage At Kingsborough. The performance spans Russian history as it relates to dance, and will include a contemporary section inspired by the nearby Russian community and its artists.

Roger Davidson & The Frank London Klezmer Orchestra Present On The Road Of Life

On Sunday, December 2, composer and pianist Roger Davidson teams up with Grammy Award-winning klezmer master Frank London (Co-founder, The Klezmatics) and his all-star band to present a smorgasbord of Easter European influenced music. Davidson’s compositions blend Russian, Hungarian, and Israeli melodies with tango, jazz, and waltz.

This Friday, November 16, The Doo Wop Project Takes On Stage At Kingsborough Back In Time

Featuring the stars of Broadway’s Jersey Boys, The Doo Wop Project is a tribute to classic doo wop and the music it inspired. The cast will perform time-honored songs of the era as well as some “doo wopped” takes on contemporary hits. The show starts at 8 pm. Tickets can be purchased online or by phone until 5:00 pm on Friday, November 16. Tickets can also be purchased in person at the box office.
